Ziegler bucket
RIGHT: The Ziegler Plumbing folks didn’t mess around during the water fights at the July 4 Token Creek Parade: They brought a water bucket to a squirt gun fight, as one spectator learned the hard way when she received a bucketful of water.

Token Creek Circle of Freedom
LEFT: Spectators at the Token Creek Parade joined hands and sang along with Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA,” raising their hands during the chorus “And I’m proud to be an American . . .” and at the ending. West Wolves Water War
LEFT: Sun Prairie West High School Wolves football players were wet and well-represented during this water war with Token Creek Parade spectators. The Wolves re-filled their squirt guns from a mini-van they walked behind during the festival. Although rain fell before the parade, spectators remained mostly dry during the parade — unless they were in the path of a squirt gun.

Mike Jacobs campaigns in parade
The only 46th Assembly District candidate to make an appearance in the Token Creek Parade on July 4 was Sun Prairie District 3 Alder Mike Jacobs (left, waving) and his wife (right) with their dog (not pictured) and Sun Prairie District 1 Alder Steve Stocker (center).
